Back in 2020 Henri set up HG Contracting after spotting a gap in the market for paddock management and other land management services to landowners.

In the past commercial farmers would help local smallholders and residential landowners with their land management needs but now their equipment is often too large to operate in small fields and paddocks, and those small jobs simply are not worth their while. Having long cared for his family’s own smallholding, Henri noticed there was no local business focused specifically on paddock maintenance and the needs of smaller landowners.

It didn’t take long before enquiries started coming in from neighbouring owners asking if he could look after and manage their land. By using small, compact, lightweight machinery Henri’s equipment reduces soil compaction and provides careful, specialised care for smaller properties, delivering consistently excellent customer service and impressive results.

We our fully insured to undertake our paddock work, we are city and guilds qualified PA1/PA2/PA6.
